As the Medical Services Administrative Assistant, you'll be the backbone of our Medical Services team, providing essential high-level administrative support to the Coordinator of Medical Services and other key staff. In this dynamic role, you’ll contribute to the efficient operation of the region’s healthcare services, assisting in the management of staff, projects, and various administrative functions that directly support the delivery of high-quality medical services.

What you’ll do:

  • Offer comprehensive support, including managing diaries, travel arrangements, and event coordination for the Medical Services team (HR experience would be beneficial).
  • Produce key documents, reports, minutes, and correspondence, ensuring clear communication and organisational efficiency.
  • Assist with research and project work, providing valuable insights to improve medical services in the region.
  • Ensure smooth operations through efficient records and information management, in line with SA Public Sector guidelines.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in high-level administrative roles, including diary management, travel coordination, and report preparation.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to offer sound recommendations.
  • A thorough understanding of administrative processes and record management, alongside familiarity with computing software to create professional materials.
  • Knowledge of the SA Public Sectors policies, particularly in relation to information and records management, is highly desirable.
