About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Rostering Officer to join our dynamic team within the Acute and Urgent Care department. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, coordination, and distribution of medical staff rosters, ensuring seamless coverage for the Emergency Department, including both Training Medical Officers and Specialists. Your keen organisational skills and proactive approach will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations across the department.

As a key member of the team, you will provide valuable administrative support, contributing to the effective human resource management of the Emergency Department and its subspecialties. Your work will directly support the delivery of high-quality care, ensuring that medical staff are scheduled appropriately and operations run smoothly. About You

We are looking for a motivated and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will bring strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Advanced Excel skills or a willingness to complete advanced training, along with proficiency in Word and Outlook.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, with a talent for engaging with staff, external agencies, and the community in a professional and tactful manner.
  • Proven experience in preparing and managing staff rosters, alongside strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to analyse and interpret data effectively.
  • A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage workload pressures, and contribute positively to a multidisciplinary team.
