About the Role

Join our dedicated team at Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) as an AHP2 Dietitian, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality dietetic services to adult inpatients across acute and subacute services. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you'll help plan and provide tailored nutrition care that supports patients' recovery, ensuring optimal outcomes and smooth discharge transitions.

This role offers an exciting mix of complex clinical care, quality improvement, education, and research opportunities. As a valued member of the team, you'll make a real impact on patient recovery, working closely with healthcare professionals, patients, families, and carers to facilitate positive patient outcomes.

About You

Are you a passionate dietitian looking for an opportunity to make a difference in patient care? We're seeking a skilled and motivated AHP2 Dietitian to join our dynamic team at CALHN, the ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Qualifications & Skills: A qualified Dietitian with eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Australia and a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Clinical & Professional Abilities: Strong ability to implement client-centred, evidence-based practices, with excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience: Proven experience in acute or subacute care, working with interdisciplinary teams, supervising students or allied health assistants, and contributing to quality improvements.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of evidence-based nutrition practices, along with proficiency in electronic systems (Sunrise EMR or Delegate Meals Management System).
