Overview

Are you a passionate mental health professional eager to make a meaningful impact? Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network is looking for a dedicated Full-Time, Short-Term Contract Mental Health Clinician to join our Murray and Mallee Community Mental Health Team.

In this crucial role, you’ll deliver exceptional mental health nursing services across various health settings. With your experience and ongoing education, you’ll evolve from a competent to a proficient practitioner, taking responsibility for your practice standards and guiding less experienced staff.

While your focus will primarily be clinical, you’ll also have the opportunity to take on portfolio responsibilities that align with your career development goals, as determined during performance reviews.

Essential Criteria

Applicants must be:

  • registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia;
  • Hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate;
  • Hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in Mental Health practice with demonstrated competence in Mental Health Nursing;
  • Experienced with at least 3 years full time equivalent, post registration mental health practice;
  • Experience in the leadership and management roles.
