The SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) is undertaking a major initiative to modernise its operations with the introduction of an electronic Patient Care Record (ePCR) system.

The initiative marks a significant step toward modernising SAAS operations, aligning them with national standards, and ensuring that paramedics are equipped with the tools they need to deliver high-quality care across South Australia.

The ePCR system will streamline the way paramedics record patient information, improving the accuracy and efficiency of care provided during emergencies. It will allow paramedics to enter patient observations and care details directly into a digital platform, accessible in real-time. This will not only enhance the quality of care delivered on the scene but also facilitate smoother handovers to hospital staff, as information can be instantly shared with receiving facilities.

This is your chance to be at the forefront of a groundbreaking initiative that will shape the future of ambulance services in South Australia. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting the successful deployment of ePCR across the state, ensuring a seamless transition for frontline staff.
