Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design reporting templates and structures for the ePCR Solution.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify reporting requirements, rules, and opportunities for new or improved data reporting products.
• Build and implement self-service reporting tools using the ePCR Solution's native functionality, enabling data consumers to access approved information independently.
• Support the development of communications, publications, and training tools related to reporting tools and capabilities.
• Contribute to the development and update of the data dictionary and data quality assurance practices for the ePCR Data Set.
• Introduce best practice tools, processes, standards, and methodologies for ePCR data management.
• Maintain working relationships with ePCR Data team members, other workgroups, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent the ePCR Data team at various forums and assist in developing strategies for SAAS.

The SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) is undertaking a major initiative to modernise its operations with the introduction of an electronic Patient Care Record (ePCR) system.

The initiative marks a significant step toward modernising SAAS operations, aligning them with national standards, and ensuring that paramedics are equipped with the tools they need to deliver high-quality care across South Australia.

 The ePCR system will streamline the way paramedics record patient information, improving the accuracy and efficiency of care provided during emergencies. It will allow paramedics to enter patient observations and care details directly into a digital platform, accessible in real-time. This will not only enhance the quality of care delivered on the scene but also facilitate smoother handovers to hospital staff, as information can be instantly shared with receiving facilities.
