About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the WCH@Home Service as an Advanced Trainee/Fellow (MDP2), where you will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to the provision of high standard paediatric clinical services to WCH@Home patients.
  • Participating in clinical teaching and scientific research related to the Department.
  • Providing supervision and training of more junior Trainee Medical Officers attached to the Unit.

 About You

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) or equivalent,
  • Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration
  • Completion of required 3 years basic paediatric training and passed the RACP written and clinical exams.
  • Ability to work as an effective team member in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers, and colleagues
