Exciting Opportunity: Physiotherapist (AHP1 or AHP2) with Country Health Connect

Are you a passionate Physiotherapist looking to make a significant impact in rural and remote communities? Country Health Connect is seeking a motivated professional to join our dynamic team within the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network.

Please note this position is multi-classified as AHP1 or AHP2 with classification determined by your knowledge and experience.

About the Role:

For AHP1 Level:

  • Work under the guidance of a Senior Physiotherapist to deliver a broad spectrum of health services to meet local community needs.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Community Health Team Leader within a multidisciplinary framework, applying various strategies for preventive care, early interventions, treatments, and evaluations.
  • Engage in a comprehensive approach to address community health concerns effectively.

For AHP2 Level:

  • Utilise your extensive clinical expertise to design, implement, and assess a wide range of services tailored to community needs.
  • Work autonomously with minimal clinical direction, overseeing the development of junior allied health professionals, assistants, and students.
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, employing a holistic approach that includes preventive measures, early interventions, individual therapy, group programs, health promotion initiatives, and community development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality physiotherapy services across multiple communities, including Port Lincoln, Elliston, Streaky Bay, Ceduna, Wudinna, Cleve, Cowell, Kimba, Tumby Bay, and Cummins or a regular and rostered schedule.
  • Participate in community health initiatives, promoting wellness and independent living.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with other health professionals and community stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and be eligible for full membership of the relevant Professional Association.
