About the Role 

As a Senior Social Worker with The Way Back Support Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychosocial support to individuals experiencing a suicidal crisis or who have attempted suicide. You’ll lead a dedicated team, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored interventions that empower consumers to manage their distress and enhance their mental wellbeing. Your expertise will contribute to building strong connections with community and clinical services, ensuring that those at risk receive the ongoing care and support they need.

In this collaborative environment, you will work closely with consumers, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to foster a sense of safety and connectedness. Your leadership will be instrumental in implementing evidence-based practices and promoting continuous improvement within the service.
