About the Role

As a Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse, you will:

  • Assess Needs: Evaluate individual patient/client needs to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Plan & Implement: Develop and implement tailored care plans, coordinating with various disciplines and agencies.
  • Direct Care: Provide compassionate, person-centered nursing/midwifery care, ensuring each patient receives the attention they deserve.
  • Case Management: Oversee individual case management on a shift-by-shift basis, with opportunities to take on increasing autonomy over time.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate services that address the unique health care needs of each patient.

In the role of Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C), you’ll maintain a strong clinical focus while managing specific portfolios tailored to your career development and performance goals.

Part Time contracts available are:

  • Ongoing Part Time - 0.63FTE (24 hours per week)
  • Short Term Part Time - 0.84FTE (32 hours per week) ending 21 November 2025

The successful applicants will be required to work early, late and night duty shifts over a 7 day roster.

Essential Criteria

  • RN1 Registered Nurse: Eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and holding a current practicing certificate.
  • RN2C Clinical Nurse: Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience and experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
