About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join the Palliative Care Unit to make a profound impact on the lives of patients and their families during one of life's most challenging stages.

As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager in the Palliative Care Unit, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and support to patients facing life-limiting illnesses. Your responsibilities will include providing clinical leadership, fostering a positive team environment, and overseeing the smooth operation of the unit.

To succeed in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of palliative care principles and a genuine commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient-centred care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of care practices, ensuring that the unit remains at the forefront of palliative care delivery. To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
