Overview:

  • The primary purpose of the role is to coordinate and deliver Data Governance and Integrity activities for designated Data Assets including data validation, supporting users, and maintaining data integrity that capture the care provided to patients and clients in South Australia public and private hospitals and associated facilities.   The successful applicant will operate as a subject matter expert for assigned primary and secondary Data Assets such as: Admitted Patient Care; Emergency Department; Non-Admitted Patients; Sub-Acute; Elective Surgery; and Safety Learning Systems.
  • The role identifies and maintains data that is aligned with quality assurance standards to ensure accurate and useful departmental and national statutory reporting and informed clinical improvement, funding and demand management decision making. The position also Chairs EDA Community of Practice meetings to create opportunities for identifying improvements, share information and foster relationships with users across LHN and Statewide medical service sites.
