 An exciting opportunity exists within Ward 6A for an Enrolled Nurse to join us on an ongoing basis, working in a part-time capacity!

Ward 6A is a busy Respiratory / Infectious Disease ward that provides ongoing support for all staff at varying stages of their careers. We have many education opportunities that will enable you to provide high quality care to our clients. Increasing confidence in utilizing specialist equipment.

About the role: 

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, as the Enrolled Nurse you will support the Registered Nurse in the provision of person-centred care consistent with regulatory and statutory requirements. Duties for this role may involve:

  • Commitment to delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the SALHN Integrated Governance Framework and Consumer Engagement Framework and Plan.
  • Continue own professional development, seek learning opportunities and maintains own professional development portfolio of learning and experience.
  • Engage with patients/clients to provide person centred care.

About you:

  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Registered or eligible for registration as an enrolled nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards.
