About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Clinical Nurse within the Critical Care Unit There is a strong focus on teamwork & excellent patient care delivery within all of our units across both Lyell McEwin (LMH) and Modbury Hospitals (MH).

In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional skills in discharge planning and team leadership, while making a profound impact on the lives of our patients and their families. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional care, ensuring a seamless transition from the Emergency Department to extended care facilities.

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide nursing services in a variety of health service settings which have been consolidated by experience and/or further study, developing from a competent to proficient practitioner. In this role you will accept accountability for your own practice standards, activities delegated to others and the guidance and development of less experienced staff. 

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

Lyell McEwin Hospital The major hospital in the north and north-east for emergency care, complex and multi-day surgery, medicine, obstetrics, paediatrics and outpatient services.

Modbury Hospital A general hospital with emergency care, elective surgery, medicine, outpatient and sub-acute services, rehabilitation, geriatric and palliative care.
