About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Allied Health Social Work Service team as a Clinical Team Leader, where you will be responsible for:

  • Initiating and coordinating quality activities and service improvement projects to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the service.
  • Building and maintaining professional networks and working relationships with key stakeholders both within and outside the region to support service development and quality activities.
  • Establishing social work practices and protocols for managing complex psychosocial cases.
  • Providing consultative services to all areas within the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, including support, education, and problem-solving for complex psychosocial cases.
  • Coordinating and facilitating an ongoing training and development program for Social Work staff.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Experience at a senior clinical level within the profession in an area of specialisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake a clinical caseload while undertaking concurrent project work.
  • Ability to co-ordinate service provision for consumers.  
  • Ability to supervise a professional team and effectively and efficiently manage time and other resources.
