SALHN is looking to engage enthusiastic and passionate Clinical Psychologist or Health Psychologist within the Division for Rehabilitation, Aged and Palliative Care (DivRAP) across Flinders Medical Centre and the Repat Health Precinct.

As a Psychologist, you'll deliver evidence-based interventions, conduct comprehensive assessments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient-centred care. About the role: 

Reporting to the Director, Allied Health (DivRAP) & the Manager, Psychology (DivRAP), some of your duties as the psychologist may involve: 

• Provide specialist psychological assessment, treatment, and consultation services to patients across various settings, including inpatient and outpatient clinics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Contributing to strategic planning for clinical psychology/health psychology services across relevant work areas, incorporating  regular evaluation of services and reporting on quality improvement activities. 

This role may work across multiple sites within the Division of of Rehabilitation, Aged & Palliative Care and some travel may be required between worksites.

About you:

• Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia with general registration and Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist or Health Psychologist.
• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of relevant models and practices within a community based, ambulatory and/or integrated care framework.
• Alibility to apply a high level of professional accountability, integrity, ethical standards and decision making. 
• Ability  to undertake a range of Clinical Psychology/Health Psychology interventions including diagnostic and cognitive assessment, case formulation and provision of specialised evidence based therapies (e.g. CBT, MBCT) for specific disorders in individual and/or group formats; consultation and psycho-education regarding appropriate psychologist therapies and approaches.
