Overview:

  • The Finance Manager, New Women’s and Children’s Hospital (New WCH) Project is responsible for the oversight of critical project financial management and reporting functions to ensure the integrity of the New WCH Project’s financial planning and transactions.  The role leads high-level liaison functions to deliver information and expert advice to the Project Leadership Team and to key governance forums. 
  • The Finance Manager, New WCH leads the provision of expert accounting advice and solutions to complex issues to ensure accurate, timely and complete financial information, which forms the basis of the internal and external financial reports. The role develops and maintains relationships with key internal and external project stakeholders, promotes a culture of integration across the Project and provides expert contribution to financial matters overseen by the Project’s Cost Consultant.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

  • Degree, Diploma or Associate Diploma qualification in Finance, Accounting or Economics majoring in accounting.
