Are you a self motivated individual with a passion for ensuring safe and efficient facility operations? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as a Facilities Services Officer at Coober Pedy Health Service and Oodnadatta Health Service.

Role Overview:

As a Facilities Services Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and functional environment for staff, clients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safety & Security: Develop, coordinate, and implement safety and security strategies to ensure a secure environment for everyone at the health services.
  • Maintenance: Perform general minor repairs and maintenance across hospital buildings, plant, equipment, and grounds.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Follow and manage the in-house preventative maintenance schedule to ensure all plant and equipment outside the scope of AGFMA are well-maintained.
  • Fire Safety & Emergency Planning: Develop and implement the Fire Safety and internal emergency plan for the hospital to ensure preparedness and compliance.
  • Goods Collection & Delivery: Manage the general collection and delivery of goods as needed.
