About the Role

As the Business Officer, you will be at the heart of our Program, providing expert advice and consultancy in human resources, finance, and administrative management. This dynamic role involves overseeing financial and administrative support services staff, maintaining robust financial systems, and ensuring accurate reconciliation of service agreements and transactions. Your skills in budget preparation, asset monitoring, and data analysis will contribute to driving operational efficiency and program success.

Beyond the numbers, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing building maintenance and minor works requests, as well as investigating cost-benefit trends and performance data to guide strategic decision-making. About You

We’re looking for a motivated and skilled professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is ready to make a meaningful impact. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, negotiation expertise, and the ability to manage staff effectively.
  • Proven experience and technical expertise: Hands-on experience in investigations, policy application, and database/reporting system development using software like Microsoft and databases.
  • Knowledge across key domains: Solid understanding of HR management, budgetary processes, OHS&W requirements, and quality improvement techniques.
  • Adaptability and commitment: Ability to work independently, manage competing demands, and deliver outstanding customer service with initiative and drive.
