About the role

Join our dedicated team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional medical imaging services to clients and patients across a diverse range of Nuclear Medicine specialties. Whether you're starting your career (AHP1) or bringing advanced expertise to the role (AHP2), you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge Nuclear Medicine equipment to perform and refine molecular imaging and theranostic procedures, all while advancing your professional independence and skills in a supportive environment.

About You

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality Nuclear Medicine services. To excel in this role, you will bring a strong combination of technical expertise, clinical knowledge, and collaborative skills.

  • Qualified and Registered: You hold an appropriate degree in Medical Radiation – Nuclear Medicine and are registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPB). You also possess or are eligible to apply for licences under the Radiation Protection and Control Act, SA 2021, enabling you to handle radioactive materials and operate radiation apparatus.

  • Skilled and Experienced: You have demonstrated experience performing a broad range of Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures, including molecular imaging and theranostics. You excel in patient preparation, care, and the practical application of quality improvement protocols.

  • Proficient and Adaptable: Your strong technical abilities include using Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS). You have a thorough understanding of safe practices, regulatory compliance, and medico-legal responsibilities in imaging services.

  • Collaborative and Communicative: You thrive in a team environment, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills. Your flexibility, innovation, and ability to mentor others make you a valued member of any organisation.
