Are you passionate about providing compassionate care? We are looking for reliable and motivated Assistant in Nursing casual staff to join our Nursing/Midwifery team at Elliston MPS. This is your chance to make a difference in the lives of our patients and residents while gaining invaluable experience in a supportive environment.

About the Role: As an Assistant in Nursing, you will support our Enrolled and Registered Nurses in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily living activities and basic nursing duties.
  • Providing person-centred care to our patients/clients.
  • Performing routine technical support functions, including setting up for nursing procedures and managing local stock levels.
  • Maintaining effective communication within our multidisciplinary healthcare team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Current enrolment in an undergraduate nursing or midwifery program (2nd or 3rd year) or
  • Completion of training relevant to the safe and competent performance of nursing duties or
  • A Certificate III or IV in Basic Health Care, Aged Care, Health Services Assistance, Home and Community Care, Individual Support Work, or other approved health-related qualifications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A collaborative spirit to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.
