Are you a passionate and dedicated Podiatrist seeking an exciting opportunity to make a difference in rural and remote communities? We are looking for a motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Podiatrist at Port Lincoln Community Health. Whether you are starting your career or have a wealth of experience, this role offers you the chance to provide vital health services across multiple communities in the Eyre & Far North Region.

As an AHP1 Podiatrist, you will work under the guidance of the Senior Podiatrist, supporting the delivery of integrated health services across various communities. You’ll be a part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, contributing to preventative care, early intervention, and treatment services.

As an AHP2 Podiatrist, you will apply your clinical expertise to plan and implement a wide range of services. You will work independently, supporting less experienced professionals and students, and lead group programs, health promotion, and community development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive podiatry services, including assessment, treatment, and prevention strategies.
  • Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.
  • Participate in community health promotion and education programs.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff and students (AHP2 only).
  • Travel regularly across multiple communities as per rostered schedule.

Must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant allied health profession, and be eligible for full membership of the relevant Professional Association (Podiatry Board of Australia)

Please note this position is multi-classed as AHP1 or AHP2 and classification will be determined by knowledge and experience.
