Are you an experienced Maintenance professional looking to take on a leadership role? We’re seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team, overseeing the maintenance and repair of all plant, equipment, buildings, fixtures, and fittings across our organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact on the day-to-day operations of a busy Health Service while managing and developing a team of maintenance staff and contractors.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities across multiple sites, providing expert advice and support to sub-regional teams, and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. You’ll play a key role in overseeing our Fire and Safety programs and assisting with evacuation exercises and training. With your experience and expertise, you’ll lead a range of maintenance projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance operations across hospital sites and associated grounds.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage and oversee fire safety programs, evacuation exercises, and training.
  • Plan and implement forward works, ensuring compliance with asset life cycles.
  • Evaluate the condition of buildings, plant, and equipment, addressing maintenance needs promptly.

Essential Criteria

  • Extensive knowledge of asset management principles and maintenance planning.
  • Significant experience in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance.
  • Proven ability to manage medium-sized projects and lead teams.
  • Strong computer literacy and excellent administrative skills.
  • Experience in evaluating building conditions and ensuring compliance.
