About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the 3D Health team as a Nurse Consultant - Manager, where you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and leading patient/client care delivery for continuity and quality outcomes.
  • Providing clinical expertise and leadership for individual patients/clients or groups within a specialized area of practice.
  • Managing and rostering the Access Assistant Program (AAP) nursing team to support students with complex health needs or disabilities in educational settings.
  • Coordinating day-to-day services, including rostering, staff training, and collaboration with health professionals and educational representatives.
  • Communicating effectively with families, government, and non-government educational sites.
  • Ensuring accountability for nursing/midwifery practices, addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy, and fostering team performance and a positive work culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
  • Registered Nurses with at least 3 years post registration experience
  • Demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards and in at least one of the relevant following areas; paediatric, community, disability or complex health
  • Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability in leading and promoting consumer engagement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential
