Join our team at the SA Health Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide Metro Southern, where we are seeking a passionate and skilled Full time RN2C Clinical Nurse.

About the role: 

Operationally reporting to the Advanced Nurse Unit Manager clinically reporting to the Perinatal Mental Health Nurse Consultant. In this role, you will be part of a small dedicated Perinatal Mental Health team providing assessment and support to individuals experiencing Perinatal mental health challenges. Your primary responsibilities will include triaging referrals, assessing, planning,  referring to community services and liaising with external agencies to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.

About you:

  • Registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds a current practicing certificate. Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice
  • Have experience working with women and their families in the Perinatal period
  • Understanding of the National Perinatal Mental Health guidelines
  • Skills in using computers and software relevant to the area of practice
