Direct Care Worker (Community) – Empower Lives from Home

Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in your community? Join our team as a Direct Care Worker (Community) and provide essential support to elderly, frail, and disabled clients who wish to live independently in the comfort of their own home.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and hygiene
  • Support mobility and assist with lifting, transfers, and mechanical aids
  • Ensure clients' homes are clean, safe, and comfortable
  • Aid in medication administration and assist with routine treatments
  • Provide transportation and support special needs clients
  • Work as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong judgement and initiative in daily tasks
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)
  • A genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others

  • DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
  • Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
