About the role

Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in human resources and fostering a supportive workplace environment? As a Workforce Business Partner, you will provide timely, high-quality HR advice and consultancy services across a range of operational HR matters. Working closely with a Senior HR Business Partner, you will assist with complex issues, drive HR projects within defined guidelines, and contribute to the delivery of effective and engaging HR services for the organisation.

In this dynamic role, you’ll support managers across key HR areas, including recruitment and selection, industrial relations, performance management, WH&S, and organisational development. By building strong relationships and promoting best-practice HR, you’ll help create a positive and compliant work environment that upholds SCSS’s core values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence (ICARE). About You

We are seeking a motivated and skilled HR professional with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and fostering a positive workplace environment. To excel in this role, you will bring:

  • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to provide tailored advice, maintain confidentiality, and build effective relationships with team members, managers, and employees.
  • Strong Analytical and Organisational Abilities: Demonstrated capacity to research, analyse, and summarise information, prepare detailed reports, and manage competing priorities to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Relevant Experience in HR Services: Experience in providing advisory and consultancy services on HR matters, interpreting and applying policies and legislation, and contributing to the development and implementation of best-practice HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge and Values Alignment: In-depth understanding of HR policies, legislation, and public sector conditions of employment, combined with a commitment to workplace values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
