About the role

Join the South Australia Medical Imaging (SAMI) team as an Administration Lead Country, where you’ll play a critical role in providing project and administrative support to SAMI’s country sites. Reporting to the Campus Operations Manager, Country, and supporting the Country Medical Imaging Services Managers, you’ll act as a key resource in ensuring effective administration outcomes that align with SAMI’s strategic objectives.

Based at one of the four SAMI country sites, you’ll be an integral part of the SAMI Country leadership team, contributing to operational planning and supporting the strategic direction for the country sites. With your extensive experience in a hospital environment and familiarity with a medical imaging setting, you’ll provide leadership and administrative expertise to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services across SAMI’s country locations. About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to take on the role of Administration Lead Country. You’ll bring a strong mix of leadership, administrative expertise, and project management skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a healthcare setting.

  • Leadership & Accountability: Proven ability to act as a role model with high ethical standards, personal accountability, and strong decision-making skills. You can plan and prioritise workloads effectively while meeting deadlines and adapting to change in a dynamic environment.
  • Skills & Collaboration: Demonstrated expertise in leading and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to independently conduct research, investigations, and analyses to resolve complex problems.
  • Experience & Expertise: Extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary functions, including finance, HR, administration, and IT within a health or medical imaging environment. Skilled in accreditation, quality assurance, and delivering high-quality administrative and project support services, including preparing reports, proposals, and briefings.
  • Knowledge & Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of contemporary management principles, public sector standards, health service work practices, and quality improvement principles. Proficient in medical terminology and Microsoft Office suite, with an understanding of Equal Opportunity and Occupational Health, Safety, and Welfare policies.
