Overview:

The Clinical Program Manager will provide advice, leadership, management and clinical knowledge for state-wide strategic projects and reform initiatives related to the Department for Health and Wellbeing Aged Care Strategy, they will be required to:

  • Coordinate projects relevant to the Aged Care Assessment Program and other relevant aged care initiatives within the Integrated Care Systems Directorate.
  • Provide advice, leadership, management and knowledge of aged care strategies, including the Aged Care Assessment program and related initiatives to DHW and SA Government agencies as required.
  • Significantly contribute to the Aged Care Strategy Team and Integrated Care Systems Directorate.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or
  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, or
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia or
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
