About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team, delivering comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective pharmaceutical services to both inpatients and outpatients. In this role, you will optimise drug therapy and contribute to overall medication management, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patient care. Your expertise will include providing professional counselling services, drug dispensing, and clinical support, all while adhering to hospital policies, SA Health guidelines, and State and Federal legislation.

As a valued member of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to offer drug and therapeutic advice that supports high-quality patient care.   • Strong Communication & Teamwork Skills: You possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team, foster positive relationships, and engage with patients and staff in a professional manner.
  • Technical Proficiency & Organisational Skills: You demonstrate strong technical and manipulative skills, with great attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy Practices: You have a solid understanding of clinical pharmacy practices, drug dispensing, patient counselling, and general dispensary procedures, alongside knowledge of relevant Pharmacy Acts and legislation.
  • Adaptability & Initiative: You can work independently and unsupervised, applying initiative and problem-solving skills. Your flexibility, resilience, and change management abilities enable you to thrive in a multidisciplinary and evolving healthcare environment.
