Community Mental Health - Rehabilitation Services (Whyalla)
Whyalla Hospital hosts the Saltbush Community Mental Health Rehabilitation service, which is part of the South Australian Government’s strategy to reform mental health services and to provide a stepped model of care to regional South Australians at a location closer to home. The service supports people who may have been living independently in the community but require a more supported environment to enhance their living skills, or those who may have completed their stay in hospital and are ready for community-based treatment and rehabilitation.
