About You

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nurse Unit Manager with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Qualifications: Current registration as a General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a valid practising certificate.
• Skills and Abilities: Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills, with the ability to foster a positive and innovative workplace culture.
• Experience: At least 3 years post-registration experience with demonstrated expertise in Anaesthetic practice, aligned with ACORN standards, and previous management and leadership experience.
• Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of professional nursing standards, healthcare legislation, WH&S requirements, and quality improvement systems within a healthcare setting.
