Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive midwifery care in the community, including antenatal and postnatal services.
  • Deliver professional support to less experienced staff, including student nurses and enrolled nurses.
  • Prioritise and manage workload, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
  • Foster a creative and flexible approach to problem-solving within a clinical setting.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and support the professional development of staff.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered Midwife, eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-registration experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high care standards.
  • Knowledge of contemporary midwifery practice, healthcare issues, and relevant legislation.
