Are you a passionate and dedicated Nurse with a keen interest in General Medicine? 

SA Health is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our exceptional team as a Part-Time, Ongoing General Medicine Nurse Consultant at the Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide's southern metropolitan area.

About the role: 

Reporting to the Nursing Director this role you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and driving continuous improvement in medical practices. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the well-being of our patients is at the forefront of every decision. Duties for the role will include:

  • Providing expert clinical advice, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Leverage your extensive knowledge and experience to enhance patient outcomes and promote best practices within the General Medicine domain.

About you:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
