About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services that enhance the lives of adults with a variety of complex health conditions. Your work will be integral to our team’s efforts in achieving better clinical outcomes for our patients.

In this role, you will utilise your considerable experience to assess and provide tailored OT interventions for complex health conditions. You will also have the opportunity to engage in departmental educational initiatives, contribute to quality improvement projects, and participate in planning activities that elevate the standard of care we provide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to adults across acute, sub-acute rehabilitation, community, and ambulatory settings.
  • Participate in and contribute to departmental education, quality improvement, and planning activities.
  • Provide professional supervision and mentorship to AHP1 Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, and students.
  • Rotate across different sites and units within CALHN, bringing your expertise to a variety of clinical environments.

About You

You are a proficient Occupational Therapist with at least three years of clinical experience in diverse settings, which may include acute care, sub-acute rehabilitation, and community-based services. You have experience in managing patients with complex conditions and are equipped with the skills to deliver exceptional care.

You are committed to continuous learning and enjoy mentoring others, helping to build a strong and knowledgeable team. Your ability to adapt to different clinical environments and your dedication to improving patient outcomes make you an ideal fit for this role.
