Are you an experienced Sterilisation Technician with a passion for ensuring patient safety and contributing to excellent healthcare outcomes? Murray Bridge Hospital is seeking a dedicated Sterilisation Technician to join our Theatre team and play a vital role in the effective delivery of sterilisation services.

As a Sterilisation Technician, you’ll maintain the highest standards of sterilisation and stock supply, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the theatre environment. Your contribution will support our clinical teams in providing exceptional care and enhancing patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sterilisation duties to maintain optimum standards.
  • Organise work methods and maintain accurate recording systems.
  • Provide equipment and support to wards as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations.
  • Uphold infection control and hygiene principles in all sterilisation processes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • AQF Certificate III in Sterilising Technology.
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to diverse individuals.
  • Demonstrated experience in the perioperative and CSSD departments.
  • Knowledge of sterilisation methods, infection control principles, and hygiene standards.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
