We are seeking a dedicated Senior Clinical Psychologist or Health Psychologist to join our exceptional team at the Flinders Medical Centre, located in the vibrant Adelaide Metro Southern region. 

About the role: 

Reporting to the Manager of Psychology, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality psychological services to patients and their families. Your expertise will be invaluable in conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans, and providing ongoing support and guidance. Duties for the role will include:

  • Provide specialist psychological assessment, treatment, and consultation services to patients across various settings, including inpatient and outpatient clinics.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best-practice guidelines and protocols.
  • Supervise and mentor junior psychologists and allied health professionals.
  • Participate in relevant research projects and quality improvement initiatives.

About you:

  • A Master’s degree in Clinical or Health Psychology, or higher, as recognised by AHPRA and the Australian Psychological Society and registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) with specialist clinical or health psychology endorsement.
  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • High level of ability to design, implement and evaluate psychological procedures and interventions including psychological assessments, and consultancy services, in relation to complex clients
  • Ability to apply specialist skills in resolving clinical problems.
