Make a Difference Every Day: Direct Care Worker – Residential (Ceduna)

Are you passionate about providing high-quality care and making a real impact on people's lives? We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Direct Care Worker to join our Residential Care Home team in Ceduna. This is your chance to contribute to a team that provides exceptional care to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

In this role, you’ll assist with direct client service, including reporting on client observations, completing routine documentation, and identifying and delivering diversional therapy. Your role will also involve conducting risk assessments and following established care plans to support residents’ daily needs. You’ll play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for individuals, whether through one-on-one support or group activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
  • Proven experience in exercising judgement and initiative in your role.
  • Experience providing direct care in a health-related field, particularly with aged, frail, or disabled individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer packages.
