Overview

Eudunda Hospital provides high quality patient and residential aged care facilities within the Hospital and Hostel. Using your clinical knowledge and experience, you will provide pivotal coordination of patient and resident care delivery. The main focus of your role will be the line management, coordination and leadership of nursing and multidisciplinary team activities to achieve continuity and quality of patient/resident care and outcomes. You will undertake resource management activities in the local area, encompassing recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation and attendance management, financial and supplies planning and monitoring. You will accept accountability for the outcomes of nursing practices in the specific practice setting, addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy, and developing team performance and a positive work culture in the interest of patient and resident care outcomes. You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With prior experience in management and leadership roles, you will be capable of giving supervision to student nurses, Enrolled Nurses and less experienced Registered Nurses. You will use your effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills to maintain a cohesive multidisciplinary team and resolve local or immediate nursing care problems.
