About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Unit Management to join our Geriatric Evaluation & Management (GEM) Unit.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the GEM Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care. Your leadership and clinical expertise will be instrumental in fostering a positive and supportive environment for your team, while maintaining strict adherence to best practices and clinical governance frameworks.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, allied health professionals and support staff. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships and facilitate effective teamwork, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
