About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting individuals with chronic respiratory, cardiac and other complex conditions, helping them manage their health and reduce the need for hospital admissions.
At ICS, our multidisciplinary team includes experienced clinicians in Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Social Work, interdisciplinary complex self-management support services (CONNECT and CHAMP) and Physiotherapy. We work together to deliver comprehensive services bridging the gap between hospital care and community support. Our focus is on optimising functional outcomes, empowering clients to live life on their terms and improving the overall health and wellbeing of those we serve.
As a Physiotherapist, your responsibilities will include:
- providing clinical services primarily in Pulmonary Rehabilitation and respiratory outpatient services, with occasional musculoskeletal cases
- leading and supporting Allied Health Assistants, offering training and mentorship
- supervising students on placement, sharing your expertise and fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals
- collaborating closely with the ICS Physiotherapy team and other interdisciplinary professionals within NALHN to deliver integrated care
- continuously advancing your professional development and clinical knowledge, contributing to quality improvement and service enhancement
- engaging in research and service development initiatives to further elevate patient outcomes
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
