About the Role

Are you passionate about improving health outcomes and making a meaningful impact in Aboriginal communities? We are seeking a dedicated Tuberculosis Fellow to join our team in tackling tuberculosis (TB) elimination in response to a recent cluster outbreak. In this unique role, you will deliver culturally safe and appropriate care to patients affected by TB, working closely with Aboriginal communities to ensure effective health outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to conduct outreach clinics in remote areas of South Australia under full supervision, providing essential care where it is needed most.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will play a key role in supporting the SA Tuberculosis Program and the Department of Thoracic Medicine, contributing to both clinical and public health initiatives. About You

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team, contributing to the elimination of Tuberculosis in Aboriginal communities.

  • Qualifications & Experience: MBBS or equivalent, with Fellowship or advanced training in respiratory or infectious diseases. Experience in TB care and public health.
  • Cultural Competency: Demonstrated ability to deliver cross-cultural care, including experience working with Aboriginal and remote communities.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, professional integrity, adaptability, and a collaborative team approach.
  • Commitment to Excellence: Dedication to professional development, quality improvement, and delivering culturally safe healthcare outcomes.
