Overview

In this pivotal management position, you will provide support to the Nurse Unit Manager in the leadership of nurses within the Gawler Health Service, Medical Ward (Duldig). Promoting continuity and consistency of care, you will contribute to the implementation of practice changes and undertake service management responsibilities. These will include performance management processes, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation and attendance management, financial and supplies planning and monitoring.  Utilising your nursing skills and knowledge, you will support and work collaboratively with less experienced members of the nursing team.
