SA Health is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual for the full-time, temporary role of Project Officer – Ageing and Disability Reform. Based at a negotiable location, this position will be instrumental in supporting reform project functions for regional Local Health Networks (rLHNs).

As the Project Officer, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Department of Human Services and other key stakeholders to support the effective scoping and development of a model of service for the proposed Support at Home Assistive Technology-Home Modifications Loans Scheme for South Australia. Your expertise will be invaluable in contributing to the development, implementation, monitoring, and successful delivery of recommendations that meet both the Loans Scheme objectives and regional Local Health Network business requirements.

This dynamic role will empower you to drive change and innovation, providing project management, reporting, and system compliance for Commonwealth-funded aged care and disability programs, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Home Care Packages (HCP) programs. You will have the opportunity to optimise resources and funding through collaborative system design and enhance the consumer experience and quality of service when accessing Commonwealth-funded aged or disability care services.

To excel in this role, you will need to be proactive in responding to change and innovative in your approach. Strong collaboration skills are essential as you will work closely with Regional Local Health Network (rLHN) teams to achieve shared goals. Your ability to provide change management support and process redesign in response to relevant Commonwealth reforms will be highly valued.
