About the role

SA Medical Imaging is looking for highly motivated and skilled nurses to join the Radiology team at Royal Adelaide hospital. Multiple positions are available across Diagnostic Radiology (ED, Inpatients and Outpatients) and Interventional Radiology in our Technical suites (Angiography and Interventional CT). 

RAH Medical Imaging team provides diagnostic and interventional imaging services to a wide range of patient groups in an acute setting, as well as outpatient services. Our diagnostic nursing team supports patients undergoing CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Xray and Fluroscopy. Our interventional team supports patients undergoing a range of interventional procedures in our Interventional CT rooms, and Angiography technical suites, including Vascular and Neuroradiology. There are multiple positions available.

Nurses with experience in the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply: Operating theatres, cardiac cath lab, anaesthetics & recovery, day surgery, emergency or other acute settings.

Tasks/Responsibilities: (under supervision of RN)

  • Patient assessment and preparation of patients for procedures,
  • Recognise and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Scrub/scout & patient care roles during interventional procedures
  • Participate in Quality improvement activities

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Enrolled Nurse to join our team. You will bring experience in acute care, a commitment to person-centred care, and a collaborative approach to your work. Key requirements include:

  • Acute Care and Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality nursing care in a healthcare setting, adhering to appropriate standards of practice.
  • Patient Assessment and Care: Strong skills in prioritising workloads, recognising changes in clinical conditions, and delivering person-centred care.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: A clear understanding of the role of the Enrolled Nurse, including relevant legislation, standards, codes, ethics, and competency requirements.
