About the Role

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for delivering high-quality support services? As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional catering and support services for patients and clinical staff across the Glenside and Repat Campuses. Reporting to the Manager, Food Services and the Manager, Support Services, you will oversee the coordination of responsive and efficient operations that contribute to a well-functioning healthcare environment.

In this role, you will lead and manage a dedicated team across a range of essential services, including catering, cleaning, grounds maintenance, waste management, linen, and allied care activities. Your ability to foster teamwork, drive efficiency, and maintain high service standards will be key to ensuring smooth daily operations. About You

We’re seeking an experienced and dedicated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality service. To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Exceptional communication & conflict resolution skills – effectively interact with diverse teams, resolve disputes, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organisational & multitasking abilities – prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail even under pressure.
  • Proven leadership experience – lead and motivate teams, ability to implement change, set clear objectives, allocate resources, and ensure the achievement of goals.
  • Solid knowledge of safety & regulatory standards – ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety, food safety, and infection control guidelines.
