About the Role:

As a Facilities Service Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing functionality and safety of our facilities. Whether you’re performing preventative maintenance or addressing minor repairs, your work will directly impact the quality of the services we provide. You’ll be part of a supportive team, working closely with the Facility Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to maintain high standards of service delivery.  Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks, including building, grounds, and equipment upkeep.
  • Handle new installations, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Utilise your technical skills and tools to maintain operational efficiency (OPS3 classification)
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety regulations, and legislative requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • For OPS3 Classification: Significant maintenance experience or trade qualification, high computer literacy, and experience with a broad range of maintenance tasks.
  • For OPS2 Classification: Experience in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance, computer skills, and proficiency with tools and equipment.

Please note that this position is multi-classed as either a OPS3 or OPS2 and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.
