Allied and Community Health Service:

Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members. Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree and Leigh Creek. We offer a wide range of centre-based, in-home and community-based services to people of all ages and tailor our services to best meet our client needs.

About the Role:

Are you passionate about providing exceptional support services in a dynamic healthcare environment? We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Administrative Officer to join our dedicated team at Whyalla and Port Augusta, where you’ll play a key role in supporting our Community Health services.

In this role, you’ll contribute to a range of administrative and business functions, including customer service, data management, and supporting the coordination of rosters, recruitment, and staff operations. You’ll also be responsible for efficiently managing communication, coordinating meetings, scheduling appointments, and ensuring our service runs smoothly and effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in administration and contribute to the health and wellbeing of our local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality customer service and administrative support to the Community Health team.
  • Maintain client data and improve service delivery through analysis and system improvements.
  • Manage daily office functions including scheduling, communications, and records management.
  • Support recruitment, rostering, and staff coordination, ensuring optimal service delivery.

About you:

  • You’re organised, efficient, and have excellent communication skills.
  • You’re experienced in providing administrative support in health or community services.
  • You have strong problem-solving abilities and enjoy working independently.
  • Your customer service skills are second to none, and you thrive in a team environment.
  • Proven experience in administrative support within healthcare or community services.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of health administration practices and confidentiality principles.
