As a Services Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our healthcare team, providing vital services that enhance patient comfort and well-being. Your responsibilities will include preparing and delivering delicious meals to clients, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring everything is fresh and organized through laundry duties. Every task you perform contributes directly to creating a supportive and caring atmosphere for patients and staff. Essential Criteria

  • Basic knowledge of safe working conditions
  • Basic knowledge of Food Safety Standards
  • Basic knowledge of Infection Control Standards, including cleaning and sanitizing processes
  • Basic knowledge and commitment to customer service principles
  • Knowledge of computer packages eg. Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare Act and Risk Management principles.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements:

  • DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
  • Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
