About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking compassionate and skilled Physiotherapists to join our team within the Northern Adelaide Geriatric Service. These positions are rotating cover positions with opportunities across acute, subacute and community geriatric services.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in supporting our elderly patients, providing comprehensive assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping our patients to achieve their optimal level of physical function, mobility and independence.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing individualised treatment plans and providing education and support to patients and their families. In the rotating cover position, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of clinical settings including Acute Care of the Elderly Unit (LMH), Inpatient Geriatrics (Modbury Hospital and Northern Reablement and Intermediate Care to Return Home, ACH Healthia) and Geriatrics in the Home (GITH).

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
